Golf Event
We would like to know if there is any interest in holding a Golf day in July 2026. There is no commitment at this stage, we would just like to judge the level of interest.
On offer would be:
- round of golf over 18 holes
- round of golf over 9 holes
- taster session on the 28 bay driving range
- bit of fun on the 18 hole mini (crazy?) golf course or
- combination of any of the above.

Quarterly Meetings
We vary the day of the week on which meetings are held so that we do not always clash with the same u3a's monthly meetings every time. Also, we will try to vary the location within our (very large) region. Suggestions for venues are always welcome.

River Tees Walk
The walk went off well : 24 attended in the end. Lots of drop outs and swapping around! We couldn't have asked for a nicer afternoon weatherwise. Unfortunately we didn't see any seals or otters this time but there were birds, wild flowers and butterflies to watch.Christine from Teesside Archives and her volunteers were very informative and friendly.
