Booking is going well. Workshop places are limited but there is still availability for:
10am i) Introducing Uzbekistan
ii) 4.5 mile walk – a 2 hour session
1.15pm i) Egyptian Hieroglyphs
ii) Flower photography - a one and half hour session
iii) Bird watching walk - one space (as at 1/4/26)
2:15pm i) Local history workshop - one and three quarter hours
ii) The Art of Joan Miro in Ushaw's Art Exhibition Gallery.
iii) Quiz
3:15pm Irish History & the poetry of Yeats

Most workshops and activities have a maximum number of participants. The form allows you to request your first and second choices for the talks and activities, arranged throughout the day.
Preferred payment is by bank transfer but a cheque option is also available. Details are on the form.

A Festival of Fun, Music and Learning for all our u3a members.
The Regional u3a Events Team is organizing a day to celebrate the wealth of knowledge and expertise which exists within our Region.
Enjoy this special day at Ushaw Historic House, Chapels and Gardens, DH7 7DW on Tuesday May 12th 2026.
The staff of the historic house will also be able to offer tours of the house giving an insight into its history.
